In 2023, a team of curious researchers got together to explore the field of Public History. Together, we checked our fields of expertise for applications within the sphere of Public History. The result were many exciting discussions and a beautiful edited volume. “Public History in Action. Past and Present Practices of Making History Public” was published in cooperation with Opuscula Historica Upsaliensia. My dear colleagues Armel Cornu, Carl-Filip Smedberg and Sarah Vorminder worked tirelessly as editors to realise this project. I contributed a chapter about a scenic viewing of HBO’s miniseries “Chernobyl” in former R1’s reactor hall, 25 metres underground at KTH Royal Institute’s main campus in Stockholm.
Now, this book is available open-access. I highly recommend taking a look into the interesting stories our collective was able to tell.

(Of course, you can also get yourself a paper copy, if you prefer.)
A big “Thank you!” to all my colleagues, who worked with me together on this project. It was a pleasure!
